Radio producer, Kostas Zikos, is coming to Dj Survival Academy on December 2nd, 2024, for a Motivation Session about radio and DJing. 

 

Some topics he will talk about are the radio today, Internet/FM radio, how we record DJ sets for radio, the importance of radio for electronic dance music, the relationship between DJs and radio, but also about podcasting and broadcasting with the usage of speech and music. 

 

Kostas Zikos started broadcasting on TOP FM, while at the same time studying Business Administration with a specialization in Marketing. And then, he continued for 11 years at KLIK FM. He continued for 7 years on Nitro Radio and now maintains a daily two-hour show (4:00-6:00 p.m., Monday to Friday) on 95.2 Athens DeeJay. 

 

Also, he has worked as a resident DJ in significant clubs in Athens, such as KALUA, AMPHITHEATRO, PRIVILEGE and VENUE, and has played as a guest DJ in various big clubs in Greece, but also in the Netherlands and Bali. 

 

He has performed on the decks with SOUL TO SOUL, DJ Ravin of Buddha Bar, Sandy Rivera, Terry Lee Brown and many other famous DJs. Among other things, he has done the music editing for many TV shows, series, shows and theatrical plays. He has also organized large fashion shows, concerts and parties, while an important moment of his was the collaboration in the organization of Bryan Ferry's concert in Herodeion, in 2019.
